Cookie Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Last Updated: January 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how PerfectLeads, Inc. (“PerfectLeads,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website (perfectleads.com) or use our platform. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control their use.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides additional information about how we collect and process personal data.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give website operators information about how their site is being used.
Cookies can be “first-party” (set by the website you are visiting) or “third-party” (set by a different domain than the one you are visiting). They can also be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
2. Types of Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies on our website and platform:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website and platform to function. They enable core functionality such as security, account authentication, session management, and remembering your cookie consent preferences. Without these cookies, the services you have requested cannot be provided. These cookies do not collect information used for marketing purposes. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies.
Analytics & Performance Cookies
These cookies collect information about how visitors use our website, including which pages are visited most often, how visitors navigate between pages, and whether they experience errors. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and anonymous. We use this data to improve how our website works and to understand usage patterns. Primary tools: Google Analytics, Mixpanel.
Functionality Cookies
These cookies allow the website and platform to remember choices you make (such as your language, region, or display preferences) and provide enhanced, personalized features. They may also be used to provide services you have requested, such as live chat support. The information these cookies collect may be anonymized and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.
Advertising & Targeting Cookies
These cookies are used to deliver advertisements that are relevant to you and your interests. They also help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and limit the number of times you see an advertisement. These cookies are usually placed by third-party advertising networks with our permission. They remember that you have visited our website and may share this information with other organizations, such as advertisers. Primary tools: Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, LinkedIn Insight Tag.

4. Other Tracking Technologies
In addition to cookies, we use the following tracking technologies:
Pixels and Web Beacons: Small transparent images embedded in web pages or emails that allow us to track whether a page or email has been viewed. We use pixels from Meta (Facebook Pixel), Google (Google Tag), and LinkedIn (Insight Tag) for advertising conversion tracking and audience building. Email tracking pixels help us measure open rates and engagement with our marketing communications.
Local Storage: We may use browser local storage (HTML5) to store temporary data related to your platform session, such as unsaved form drafts and UI state. Local storage data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly save or submit it.
JavaScript Tags: Our website uses JavaScript tags (also called “scripts” or “SDKs”) to load analytics and advertising tools. These scripts may set cookies or access browser storage as described in this policy. Primary scripts include Google Analytics (gtag.js), Meta Pixel (fbevents.js), and Intercom (widget.js).
Server Logs: Like most websites, our servers automatically record information when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamp. Server logs are used for security monitoring, performance analysis, and debugging. Log data is retained for 90 days.
5. Cookies on Customer-Built Funnels and Landing Pages
PerfectLeads enables our customers to build landing pages and funnels that may be hosted on their own domains or on PerfectLeads subdomains. When a visitor interacts with a customer-built page, the following applies:
PerfectLeads Tracking: Customer-built pages may include PerfectLeads tracking code that sets first-party cookies to attribute leads, track form submissions, and measure funnel performance. These cookies are set under the domain of the funnel page (the customer’s domain or subdomain).
Customer-Added Tracking: Our customers may add their own tracking pixels, scripts, and cookies to their funnels and landing pages (e.g., their own Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or other third-party tools). PerfectLeads is not responsible for cookies or tracking technologies added by our customers. Visitors to customer-built pages should refer to the privacy and cookie policies of the business that created the page.
Customer Responsibility: Our customers are responsible for disclosing their own cookie and tracking practices to their website visitors, including displaying appropriate cookie consent notices where required by law.
6. How to Control Cookies
You have several options for controlling and managing cookies:
6.1 Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit perfectleads.com, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in our website footer.
6.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically configure your browser to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or alert you when a cookie is being set. The method for managing cookies varies by browser:
Google Chrome · Mozilla Firefox · Apple Safari · Microsoft Edge
Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may affect the functionality of our website and platform. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.
6.3 Industry Opt-Out Tools
You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through these industry tools:
Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) · Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) · European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA)
6.4 Platform-Specific Opt-Outs
You can manage ad preferences directly with the platforms we use:
Meta (Facebook) Ad Preferences · Google Ad Settings · LinkedIn Ad Preferences
6.5 Mobile Devices
On mobile devices, you can control ad tracking through your device settings. On iOS, go to Settings → Privacy → Tracking. On Android, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads. These settings limit how advertisers can use your device identifier for targeted advertising.
7. Your Choices by Cookie Type
Here is a summary of your control options for each cookie category:
| Cookie Type | Can You Opt Out? | Impact of Opting Out |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | No — required for the site and platform to function | N/A — cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality |
| Analytics & Performance | Yes — via cookie banner, browser settings, or Google Analytics Opt-Out | We will have less data about how visitors use our site, which may affect our ability to improve it. No impact on your browsing experience. |
| Functionality | Yes — via cookie banner or browser settings | Some features may not work as expected. Your preferences (layout, language) may not be remembered between visits. Live chat history may not persist. |
| Advertising & Targeting | Yes — via cookie banner, browser settings, or platform-specific opt-outs | You will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you. We will be unable to measure ad campaign effectiveness or build retargeting audiences from your visit. |
8. Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals to websites. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. As a result, our website does not currently respond to DNT browser signals. However, you can manage your tracking preferences using the cookie controls described in Section 6 above.
We support the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, consistent with applicable law.
9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in technology, or changes in applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice through our cookie consent banner or by other appropriate means.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. You can also view your current cookie preferences and update them at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in our website footer.
