Company Description: Chesterfield United FC is proud to announce our NPSL / WPSL tryout dates for our upcoming season this summer. Our Semi-professional NPSL & WPSL teams are based out of Richmond, Virginia. Our tryouts see upwards of 100 players each year and the level ranges from current college players (Division I,II & III) to former college and ex-pro players who want to continue to play at a high level. Our teams will train 3-4 times per week depending on our game schedule. We can also arrange host families and find them work if need be. Our summer teams provide a great environment to train and play over the summer with qualified staff, quality facilities, and hopefully a good season."I am extremely happy to announce that we will be holding open tryouts for the Chesterfield United NPSL and WPSL teams," said Boys Director Joe Farrell. "The previous year's open tryouts were very successful and we have signed some great players that made a significant contribution to the team's season."Our NPSL team is in it's 3rd year, and Head Coach Joe Farrell is looking forward to the season ahead. "Our 2015 Open Tryout is a great way for us identify players to make up our clubs NPSL season roster," said Farrell." We as a club are looking forward to the opportunity to provide a competitive environment for hungry and passionate players to develop and grow as players on and off the field. We pride ourselves as a professional organization that cares about its players and our club will go to any length to provide highest level of development & satisfaction. We look forward to seeing everyone in February."Our WPSL team is entering it's first official year. The team participated in exhibtion games last year, but Head Coach Eric Dutt is very excited about his team's inaugural season."WPSL at CUFC will provide players with the opportunity to play in a professional soccer environment in preparation for their college season and beyond," said Dutt. Executive Director Pat McStay is also looking forward to a great summer with both teams."We are looking to field competitive teams in both leagues including youth club alumni on both the men's and women's side," said McStay.
